Looking for Texas area Triumph riders
Looking for the few..the proud... Triumph riders in my neck of the woods. East Texas (Tyler) - North Texas (Dallas). I have had my fill of riding alone. If you are interested in getting together for even short rides, lets go! For instance. I am looking to ride west or south of Dallas Sunday Aug 22 and its more rewarding to meet and ride with others.

Get yourself down to the Goliad Industrial Airport on Oct. 22nd weekend, it's the "Texas Mile" autumn land speed meet.
Look me up and I'll get you in free and put you to work.

I've just moved to Grapevine - don't know many people here yet. Bit late to try riding tomorrow, as I've got work I need to do... :/ Would love to ride sometime though.

GrandPauls... Wow what an offer! A 350 mile ride to work! I see you are from Laredo. I used to deer hunt in Cotulla.
S3 Street Rat... Thanks and I look forward to getting together. It was a hot one Sunday! Stopped in at a Cycle Gear store in Plano, rode over to Lewisville then south of Dallas at which time I felt baked and came on back to Tyler. I was past ready to get off that horse! I have family in Coppell and Rowlett, so I do come up to visit. Get in touch with Boris at RPM Cycle 13700 Stemmons in Farmers Branch (Triumph dealer who sold me my America). He should have some in-roads on getting you hooked up with other riders. He is a good man with a good shop.

ETX, don't think of it as work, wait till you hear a few Ford GTs and Lamborghinis fire off and run down the mile...
You'll be back every year.

ETxCruiser:
We reside in Ellis County (south of DFW) and occasionally ride out your way. FM 837/FM 2961 between Cayuga and Frankston is a nice little trek that we occasionally ride.
We ride a '08 Rocket standard. Let us know when you come over toward DFW and perhaps we can meet for a ride.
We trudge on.

Ditto on RPM Cycle. All the guys and gals there are great. They treat you like they care about you and truly want you as a repeat customer. There is a Norton/British Bike rally in East Texas the first weekend in Oct. Everyone in Texas should try to make it. It should be a blast. North Texas Norton Owners Association.

I'm over here in Allen just on the southside of McKinney. I bought my Tiger at European Cycle Sports which is just called Triumph Motorcycles of North Dallas, or BMW Motorcycles of North Dallas, they are located in Plano. I have heard good things about RPM, they are just to far away for convenience.
That rally out east there sounds like a very tempting event!

Wetrudgeon...I am quite familiar with that area around Cayuga and the FM's such as 837.
You may have been to Bradford even and on 314/315 Edom to Palestine. It is some very scenic countryside. A Thruxton riding buddy and I have been in that area area a couple times. In your neck of the woods are places such as Lake Whitney and Granbury, Ive thought would make great riding.
This is getting exciting. I could get to ride with Rockets & Raptors!

That would be the "Lake 'O The Pines" rallye, excellent and well-attended event, for sure!
