Hey there my long-lost Trumpet-loving comrades,
Just wanted to post up a little last-minute ride opportunity that's happening tomorrow, bright and early. My boyfriend Drue and his partner have been working on a film project called "The Badger: Made in Trenton", which documents the highs and lows of a particular Royal Enfield rat bike, built by Leon Stanley, that's been kitted out for the purpose of breaking speed records and what not. Tomorrow's is the last of three races "the Badger" has pledged to participate in, and we're leading a little ride to Cuddebackville, NY to cheer it on. It's a flat track race, which should be a hell of a lot of fun to watch.
Meetup is at 7:30am at the Byram Diner on U.S. 26 in Stanhope, NJ. Kickstands up at 8. We plan to get to the grounds by 10. Entrance fee for spectators should be around $12.
Here's a little taste of the film:

If you can't make the ride, feel free to join us there! Races start at 11am at Oakland Valley Speedway, 305 Oakland Valley Road, Cuddebackville, NY.
Cheers!
