Thoughts on overnighters?

There are a couple of gatherings relatively nearby this year that might make for good overnighters. I don't know if I'll be able to break away from the family for more than one of them, but it might be cool if we try to get the NYC and surrounding areas guys together for at least one of them. There's the Bennington Triumph Bash in VT (I went last year and had a very nice time), and there's the Adirondack rally in Willmington, NY.

What are your thoughts on these? Any other ideas?

When is the Vermont bash? I'd love to do that, I went to a VFR rally up there (WDGAH) and the riding can't be beat.

Wow, that looks like a great rally. I'm definitely doing that one.

Ironically, my wife starts a week of (horse) riding camp in Vermont on the 6th, so I'll have to beat feet home early on Sunday to do the kid handoff. Looks like Bennington is 3.5 hours from my home in North Jersey, so it shouldn't be an issue.

Yeah, you'll be able to get home before noon from VT.

I took Rt 20 straight up from Westchester County last year. It's a bit more scenic than the Thruway, but almost just as straight lol.

I'll be happy to join you on the way up. We'll talk when the date gets nearer.
