NY area repair shop/dealer?

Where do you guys go for repair/maintenance work?

I need the 12k service done fairly soon, and will also need a new rear tire. The dealer in Manhattan gave me a pretty ridiculous quote (they charge $110/hr)...

I really wish I have a garage so I can work on my bike, too.

Re: NY area repair shop/dealer?

I take both my '08 Sprint and my Ducati Monster to European Cycle Services in Middletown, NY - http://www.europeancycleservices.com/

They are an authorized Triumph, Ducati and MV Agusta repair shop. If you tell them you have a long ride you can probably set up an appointment and wait if you have time to spare. They're great guys who are very sharp with a lot of experience. The best part is they will let you watch them do the service and will point things out and ask you questions throughout. If you've never seen it done you'll learn a lot.

They are also outstanding at setting up suspensions and will give you a free evaluation, typically doing minor tweaks free of charge.

I can also tell you where NOT to go but I won't trash anybody online. Send me a private message if you want to know more
