The weather is so iffy this time of year it's hard to plan more than a couple of days in advance.

Today's warm enough for a ride, but with wet roads and intermittent rain, there's not much joy in it.

I just bought my Sprint ST in August. Returned last week from a glorious ride out West thru Colorado ,Utah,Arizona and New Mexico.3,054 miles in 6 days! My Umph was amazing!
I would like to meet up with the group in New Jersey,they have to be a wonderful bunch.

I thought about coming down Rt 23 anyway. Haven't heard from anyone else so... why not meet in Butler at the Galaxy Diner on Rt 23/Boonton Ave.

You can pick the time. I have no idea how to traverse Bergen County to get to Alpine, except Rt 4.

I'll PM my cell in case something unexpected happens.

That sounds like a plan. Not sure where they are meeting at 10 but I'm guessing/hoping if we meet at the diner and zip up 287 North to Mahwah, then down 287 East? to the Palisades Parkway and up to the state line, an hour should do it?

or

Is it better to take 287 to Mahwah, to Route 17, Seven Lakes Drive to PIP and then come down?

Thanks! That settles it. 23 South to 80 East to PIP North and an hour will be more than enough, even if he holds back on the the Storm's throttle.

The only thing wrong with that Google map is that state line lookout is on the north bound side so if you're heading south you need to do a u-turn at exit 2 and take the PIP back North just before exit 3. It is its own exit with blue signs before exit 3. I fixed the map above-
