Friendly people riding interesting bikes over prime roadscapes today helped scratch that ethereal itch that haunts me!
BDKriv, good call on route!

(The group pic was taken in 'movie' mode (.mov) or else I would have tried to post it.)

Great meeting everyone. It was my first time riding with most of you and looking forward to doing it again. I just ordered a new battery for the Thruxton so I'll bring her next time.

Just back from a solo run out to Summit and Chatham area. Jockey Hollow was closed. Doubled back thru Watchung Reservation on my way to 78. I was stunned at how many trees were down everywhere I looked. I've never seen anything like that ever, especially from a single storm event, in the 50 years I've been going thru that area.

I rode today, around Greenwood Lake. Plenty of trees down in a pine forest on the way, just toppled over like someone pulled them up by the trunk and threw them over.
