I mightb ride this weekend, just for the helluvit!
Since it's wintertime, Borrego Springs is always a nice ride. (Via Yaqui Pass and then returning via Montezuma...)
Carlee's restaurant at Christmas Circle has decent food. (Try their home made potato chips before they run out of them!)
There's lots of other roads (at altitude) that may be snowy, so we can do those in Springtime or Summertime.
EDIT: If the ride is on the 12th, then I can't make it.

I'm up for Borrego Springs...haven't been down that way in a few years....set a date and let's go for it - only possible thing that could mess me up will be little-league sign-ups, but I can work around that.

I think the last time, we took Cajalco all the way...it was nice. The only difference the route; we came back up the devil's staircase, over to San Felipe, up banner grade, into Julian. Then 78 till we hit freeway...which for you south OC lads, is perfect.

I'm in as of now. From Julian, Norty can get you back to the 15 the fun way. I'll do my best to keep him from adding another 100+ miles to the route!

Thought you might say that....Cajalco/Ramona Expressway is a bit more direct (and boring!!!) but I'm fine with it.
What's the "Devil's Staircase"??...I've always known Montezuma Road out of Borrego to be the "Glass Staircase"...is it the same road or are we going on another with a feckin' cool name??
