Fifteen minutes from home

Snow has melted at all the lower elevations. Beautiful day today and I couldn't resist a ride up the ridgeline behind the house. Nice. Really nice!

Very nice indeed! I'm heading east to Vermont tomorrow morning, and since the North Cascades Highway has closed again, I'm re-thinking my route through Washington. Since the state is accessible to me year-around, I may just shoot through to Idaho on I-90 and then slow my pace for back-roads trips in the Rockies, Yellowstone, The Black Hills, etc. In the meantime, I'll enjoy Washington vicariously through your great pics!

Guy, I've been posting my ride reports on the Bennington Triumph Bash site, as it is event specific. I'm getting seasoned already, and looking forward to doing more (not quite so long, however). Here's the link to my ride reports...

No fairweather biker you!
Great report and inspirational photography.
I hope you will post your journey here when you have the time.
Fairer weather and riding in the future.

Thanks Rhodie - I chose to live here years ago, for a reason. The mountains and rivers. Life is good. Regards, Guy

The Scrambler is one of the best looking bikes Triumph or anyone has made in a long time. And I agree completely about mountains; love 'em! Great pictures!
