2,316 Mile Round Trip

Hello all,

At the end of the month I'm heading to Dallas, TX from North Carolina. I have some meetings in Dallas the first week in June and seeing as I've been anxious for a trip I figured this would work!

*fingers crossed* my '00 955i continues to run as flawless as she has the first 24k miles. LOL I sincerely hope that I haven't just jinxed myself...

Best regards,

Ditto

I totally understand where you're coming from. On june 6th I am starting a 4200 mile trip on my '02 RS. Hopefully it will be an uneventful trip, mechanically that is.....
Well, good luck and ride safely.

Wow

I did a quick search and read your trip summary. That sounds amazing! I am certainly envious without a doubt. It seems every time I hit the road its always 700 mile days and I never get the chance to look around and/or stop to check things out. Just point and go... and get there fast.

This trip I plan on splitting it up over 3 days each direction. This may sound silly but I want to stop at as many old school diners or eateries along the way. I suppose I've been watching to much Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives on the Food Network. I also hope to find some good local hang-outs for the evenings... i figure late morning starts are just fine!

Good luck to you as well GoinPostal!

You will be well rewarded if you slow down and look around a bit...a whole different thing than seeing how far you can get in a day.
