Good Day to Ride the Dragon!!

I made my first run of the season on the Dragon and it turned out very well the temp was around 65 and Traffic was very light on the way over and once I arrived @ the Store there were 2 Deputy's there they then left and went back to TN and were not seen again for the rest of the Day.
Killboy and Us129photos were there taking pictures and there was 10 motorcycles @ the store with the sport bikes outnumbering the cruisers so I proceeded to make 8 laps of the Dragon and it was great no real traffic the roads were clear and no LEO's and no accidents.

Just a great time had by all!

Much better to ride it during week days instead of weekends.

Just putting the finishing touches on my route sheets for my Dragon/Cherohala trip in a month's time.

I am, by no means, a "fast" rider but the level(s) of enforcement are bordering on harassment.

Admittedly the source has a point-of-view (to say the least) but 14 units in 11 miles is significant.

.. it is much less patrolled this year than last, but we'll see how the season goes along. I was on the Dragon last Sat... in a Uhaul of all things... hung out with Killboy and a few others. Darryl said that there were far fewer patrols this year, and feedback was that the Gov's off ice got a lot of email... so make the trip and enjoy a great road...
