Three hour run around Inks Lake

My wife took off for work around 11:30 am Monday and it being my day off I pulled off my side luggage on the 06' Tiger and took off for a ride.
I traveled out FM2222 to Bullick Hollow Rd to Volente and hopped on Lime Creek Rd then out RR1431 to 281 up Park Rd 4 around Inks Lake then out Hwy 29 to Bagdad Rd then back down home. Total distance 150 miles and it took roughly three hours.
If you look at the map just above Volent is a brown line which is the famed Lime Creek Rd. Quite twisty a real challenge to try to get up the speed.
The ride around Inks Lake is beautiful and always a ball.
And just under Liberty Hill is 279 or Bagdad Rd. Better than going down Hwy 183.
Now of all the things it got up to 96 degrees around the lake on the ride! With a wind of 20 to 40 mph! I got a work out. But bright blue skies and light traffic because it was Monday.
The stock seat could use some sheep skin or beads or something!
And I hit the phantom/false neatural between gears fifth and sixth twice!
All in all a great ride.

Sounds like a lot of fun. I really enjoy SR4. If you want to make that route just a little longer, 963 is a fun road to play on. When you come off of SR4 to 29, hang a left on 281 and go down to the next stoplight and hang a right. That will go down and crossover 183. Just keep taking it to 2657 and hang a right. That will put you back on 183. Thats a good little road to play on.

They've cut Ronald Reagan Blvd, aka FM 734, aka Parmer Ln all the way up to 29 now at Seward Junction. Its another good way to avoid 183.
