Ridin' on Connecticut RT 79

Greetings all,

Anyone here out riding on RT 79 yesterday?? We passed while I was heading for Madison and you were heading up towards the junction of RT 79 and RT 80.

We were both on blue bikes, me a Sprint ST(side bags off) and you were on something like a Trophy/Sprint or Beemer with side bags.

Thanks for the wave.

Regards,

Gerry

Wasn't me Gerry. Kind of cold to be out riding at the end of January. Hope you had a few layers on. Have you thawed out yet?

I live in Woodbury which is Northwest of Waterbury. Quite a few of us CT Triumph riders out there, just scattered all around the state.

Kudos to you for getting out there and riding this time of year. I kind of gave up on cold weather riding with the salt and sand on the roads. I used to sometimes ride in cold weather wearing a snowmobile suit and electric vest. But with no fairing on the BA and not having installed the accessory plug to run the vest, I think I'll wait till it gets a little warmer.

Any time you want to get together for a ride (60 degrees or warmer please) just let me know.

The other thing is it would be good to get together with some folks for some beers or garage time this winter. Anyone got a project and a heated garage??
