Nice weather in Texas

Took a short blast around town today just because the weather was so nice. I almost never bring my camera but I snapped these today.

At the University of Texas Tower:

Self portrait, "how much is that bonnie in the window?"

Did you look at the statue of George Washington on the other side of the street where you took the photo of the UT tower? It is facing down the hill toward Littlefield fountain. If you stand behind George and off to his left, you can see that he is holding something in his left hand. It is his sword hilt, but doesn't quite look right. From that position you can also read the inscription that says "ERECTED by the daughters of the American Revolution"

Jeff, the bike has a interesting stance that I can't quite put my finger on.
Is the headlamp a little lower than a stocker?
I like the last pict best.

yeah I cut and welded the brackets to make the headlight lower, unfortunately it makes it stick our further too. I'm ditching the stock headlight and brackets for something I'm going to make from scratch as soon as my parts come in. I'm going to use a smaller 5-3/4" headlight.

Looks great Sweat!

Very nasty (in a good way) looking. I'd expect Marlon Brando to come over and ride off on that beast.

Wonder what the folks working on the other side of that window were thinking?

there wasn't anyone on the other side, it was a vacant building. I parked under their awning to tune my carbs, I've been messing with the idle mix, and saw the reflection and thought it was a kodak moment.

Cool

IMO...I like the size of the light bucket.
It looks Vicentesque. Maybe some LSL/Thrux brackets
would work well and look tight.
