Chicago to Toronto
A friend and i are planning a ride from Chicago IL to Toronto Canada sometime in June and i was wondering if anyone knew the area (or the ride) and could suggest a good route or anything else.

We are thinking a 5 day trip spending at least 1 day around Toronto.

Straight Shot = 525 miles

Since this is still in the planning stage, any suggestions or thoughts are appreciated.

Thanks,
Steve

Why would anyone want to go to Toronto?

If you come up on the June 6-8th there is a Rat Rally in Niagra Falls, about 1-1.5 hours away from T.O.

Can't tell you anything about the route from Chicago as we came in around Lake Superior, but the wife and I spent about 5 days there last summer. We did think the side trip to Niagara Falls was great and worth the time. We also spent a day doing the CN tower...not as worth it unless you're into 'saying you did', but really enjoyed walking around Chinatown and some of the nearby artsy areas. We started around Bloor and/or Yonge streets right downtown.
Have you gone around Lake Superior...maybe that's a dumb question if all the bikers in Chicago do that first chance they get?
Enjoy!!...and let me know if you want greater detail.

Yes, yes they are.... As an ex pat Edmontonian, my 2 favourite hockey teams are the Oilers and whoever is playing the "Leaves"...

In all seriousness, there is lot's to see here in Toronto. I'll agree, not too much as far as good riding (unless you like riding the DVP & Lawrence ramps ), but if you wanna play tourist for a day or two, you'll be entertained.
