Beautiful pics from the great state of Texas. Although, I'm still not convinced there are curvy roads in Texas in spite of the signs.

My favorite route is leaving Amarillo going north on 287/87 to Dumas, then Dalhart on 87, to Texline on 87, to Clayton, N.M. on 87 and on to Raton where 87 hits I-25. North is southern Colorado and south is to Sate Fe and Albuquerque. It's a great ride from mid-April to mid-October. The high plains are beautiful.

Go to Google maps and do a search for Barksdale, TX and look at 335, 336 and 337. Flip over to arial view once you find the roads. Not only do those curve, they go up and down. Sometimes all at once.

For anyone planning a trip to Texas and not really knowing what to do, the 3 twisted sisters is a nice ride. Just remember to watch out for deer, small furry creatures and falling rocks.
