Sounds like a the trip is only getting better -- especially now that the missus is with you and you can (hopefully) get off of the interstates and travel. And I am in that exalted group of 'kill switch commandos' with you -- maybe even a multiple member ( )

Enjoying your ride!

High praise indeed, Gator....and always appreciate any encouragement.
Defiance was fun, tho it seemed a bit like mostly groups chatting within themselves....but I accidentally parked at the 'wrong' bar. Pulled into the first place with only a few bikes, then saw massive numbers across the street and around the corner. Might have had more conversational opportunities had we parked among the 50 Harleys and a Victory. As it was, a couple quick beers, talked with a Kaw owner a bit, but he was the only one who even noticed there was something different in the lot,,,first Rocket he'd seen. Got a couple pics to post but can't take the time now. May get to post later this week.
Thanks again for the replies...it's what makes it worth the time.

Lovin' your post and your daily recollections. Thanks for taking the time to include us. How about including the Rocket in a couple of future pictures?

Excellent posts mate and great photos!
It's nice to see parts of the US not normally seen (well, for me anyway!).
Have a safe journey and I look forward to the rest of your posts and photos.
PS, don't hang your helmet on your mirror

Great posts and pics!! I'm here in STL, so if your still in town this weekend (7/7-7/8) I was given a handout by a Harley guy about a small bike gathering they are trying to get together on Saturday at the Hooters by Westport Plaza. Said all bikes welcome. I may be going to that. Don't forget RPM Motorwerks in Belleville IL if you need anything. Not alot of stock, but Steve (owner) is a great guy and a good Triumph resource and any service you may need.
