Here are some pics and vids from an annual breakfast ride that I go on with my dad and some other riding buds. This run started in 1976 as a run up to see Jake Wise's cabin. It's not an advertised event, and started with just a handful of guys. Riding folk from Lancaster, and wherever else, have been doing this trek to Lewisburg for a long time. My dad was there in the beginning, and has seen it grow. Yesterday the turn-out was over 600 bikes.
After eating in Lewisburg, most people head up Rt. 44 to Waterville and beyond for the day. We did that, then rode off on backroads and some gravel/dirt riding across to the Turkey Ranch on Rt. 15 for eats. My riding group was my dad on his Wing, another Wing, two Electra-Glides, and a Wing-Trike. It was good riding, and with the moderate pace pace my bike indicated over 57 mpg, which I liked.
Here are the pics... Were any of you there? There were a lot of old-timers, so plenty of Wing's, Harleys, trikes, and trailers. There were also a number of sport, euro, ST, and rat bikes.
At the Turkey Ranch for lunch
And my dad was snapping some pics while we were riding
I had my digital cam mounted to my handlebar - here is the video. I ran out of batteries before some of the best riding, but that's ok.
