I'm planning my June vacation ride now.
My wife will be co-pilot. Her first "long" ride.
She's done a 300+ mile day on my other bike. This will be her first on the Sprint.
I'm heading thru Vermont and still deciding either west via ferry to the Adirondacks or east thru northern New Hampshire and western Maine.
I know my way around New England fairly well, but am willing to pull out the map and say let's ride this road.
I went on line to the Vermont tourism bureau, so between email and snail mail I've rec'd a lot of info, good info.
As an example they have a covered bridge tour already mapped out. Great one of the things I was looking for was to find some more covered bridges.
New hampshire has some great roads and good info on their tourism web site.
Maine has some nice sweeping roads, get up around Moosehead Lake, versus the tighter turns of NH and VT.
Think more mountains. Either one of these states have enough roads, good sweeping, twisty roads to keep your interest.
Go on line and look at the tourism web sites, you can also find some good deals on hotels/motels bed and breakfast types.
I'm up the road off 93 from you
When ?
