Well, Dog checked in and told us all was just peachy after he and dwr aligned the hacks wheel. They didn't make it to the nude beaches he told me. Seems there were very nice restaurants and motels all along the way. They ate to much good food he claimed (not a word about missing fungus, Vegemite, hope for him after all?).

They are going north into "colder" climes to visit CaptainQuake at the hunt preserve and will be back to Houston toward late Nov.

Be safe Dog and make sure Brit stays in the hack at that terrible 80mph speed.

Good job adjusting the 'toe and rake.' Those Heidenau tires are a good choice, too. Zombieland rubber is made to last! When his side car was originally set up, I'm sure it tracked fine empty. Once you add a bunch of weight to it, it changes... again... as Denis has noticed, handling changes depending on wind, camber, speed, where the weight is... You are in a constant state of 'driving" with a big grin!

Hmmm, sounds like turbo charging technology to the rescue. Anyone know if T-Rat has a link for that?

Got a call about 10AM, DT and Britt should arrive here in the thriving metropolis of Lakeport between 3 and 4. Bike is still sans wheel and tire, but both the Duck Boat and bass boat are ready for tours of magical, mystical Lake Okeechobee and Fisheating Creek.

I used to run a duck hunting service out here years ago and know all the "ducky" spots. The roads aren't much (anywhere they have something called "20 mile bend" isn't likely to be MC paradise), so I'll try to entertain them on the water.

Hey Dog!!!!

Love hearing about your sidehack stories. You might have to come back up here and teach me a thing or two. Sounds like Rosie definitely has a lot more power than Tyson's ride. but that's ok by us.

thought of you on Saturday during Plymouth's Thanksgiving Parade when this guy dressed as a squirrel complete with acorns in hand, walked by me, I just lost track of everything i was doing or saying at the time and was fixated by this funny looking fella.

ride safe

Dog & Miss Britt: The Captains Duck Boat operating skills are much like his motorcycling, mad as a hatter and throttle wide open. Don't ask me how I know.

Cheers,
Richard

DT and Miss Britt arrived safely yesterday afternoon. We had a pleasant, if not totally sober, evening around the campfire after dinner. talk was of central FL history and the various differences between the wildlife of Oz and the US.
Miss Britt is not only very attractive but charming as well. The Dog has landed an excellent traveling companion.

Now, Richard, Steve told me you had your eyes closed the whole time. LOL

Happy thanksgiving

Denis and Miss Britt just left for the motel, stuffed (you should excuse the expression) with Fried Turkey, Ham and all the Thanksgiving extras. A good time was had by all.

Extra Motorcycle: You can have more than 2?
Sitting in a random Motel on I 75 thinking back over the last 4 days.

The captain (Andy) and his lovely wife Judy are consummate hosts, we have eaten like kings, been shown some amazing country, and seen a poultice of very large 'gators, no shortage of large 'gators round the lake. I wonder what the collective noun for aligators is?

Thanksgiving dinner was awesome, I saw a turkey get deep fried, successfully, unlike all the attempts I have seen on YouTube. If you have never had a deep fried turkey, you haven't lived. The amazing Britt fed me a tiny wafer thin (think Monty Python Meaning of Life's Mr Creosote) piece of pie before we left, and no matter what I eat for the next few days, everything is going to be very ordinary after that pie. Judy is not just a pretty face, the Captain is punching well above his weight there too! (see my smoking hot Triumph wives theory)

Bass fishing is well over rated, it is stupidly easy, you toddle along looking at huge 'gators, throw a lure out the back of the boat and it takes less than two minutes to catch one.
Sport, pffft!

Catching crawdads is a different matter... I failed miserably.
More later...
