Is Dog still with DWR? If so for how long, I'd love to finally meet the Dog himself.

I know Robin already mentioned this to you but Easter was Hoffman family party lite. If you want to meet the whole clan be here for Thanksgiving. More food and family than you can shake a stick at.

That would be Nov 22 if it happens to work into your Zen schedule.

Still at "the house of Dave", he is having trouble shifting me.
Tomorrow it will be Key West for a couple of nights, secured a B&B on Duval St. Looking forward to doing all the "tourist traps", Hemmingways house to see all the six toed cats, chase chooks around the streets, drink at several well known bars. Which reminds me, I must be careful which bars I go into down there, be wary of the really dark ones with loud techno music and a largely male clientele! Going to take Rosie down to the Hogs Breath bar and get a photo in front of it. Last time I was there a tour ship was in port dumping 5,000 odd people in town. It was kinda funny to see the Harley bar surrounded by scooters and full of people in Bermuda shorts and Hawaiian shirts. Sorta not what I expected.

The obligatory photo in front of the buoy is a must do as well.

I can also see myself indulging in some wonderful seafood, blue crabs sounds like a winner. (for us, not the crabs)

I think the hard part will be keeping the amazing Britt distracted as we wander past clothing shops...

I will also be going past the Skunk Ape Research Institute again. (it is a farce, and has none of the credibility of The Dog Institute of Higher Stuff.) I might have another attempt at getting a knee down on the YammaOrca, those of you who have followed me will remember the disasterous crash and burn I had there last time.

Here is an instant replay of the incident...

i will let the pics explain themselves...

All was well entering, i was getting set for a classic knee down on my new YammaOrca. I knew my new ride was slippery, i was about to find out just how slippery!

It was about at this point things started to go wrong.
My grip failed me, i knew it was just a matter of time...
in a desperate last minute move, i tried a hand and knee manoeuvre, reminiscent of Agostini at his peak.

Too late, it was a massive crash and burn, sadly now in the Triumph paddock I shall henceforth be known as a chucker.

For all those of you who don't ATGATT, i escaped this unharmed, and have only my gear to thank.

Lucky there was a pro photographer there to catch all this, Pictures courtesy of MCBS (Motorcycle ********) ace photographer DWR.

D. Give me an idea when you will visit the dakotas... I have 6 weeks vacation time next year!

A very wise woman told me to get a comfortable seat since I'm sitting on a million dollars.

Nice to hear your pace has slowed and sounds like Britt is having a good time. And how awesome is it to have someone to be sharing all of your memories with. It's a whole different adventure riding with someone. Hope everything works out the way it needs to back home. Have a Merry Christmas and looking forward to riding with ya in the spring when you come back.

Now make sure you get yourself a proper Thanksgiving feast. It's a fantastic food filled holiday!

You're one lucky SOB and we're all a bit jealous of that, that's why we've taken to you so much (had nothing to do with your personality)
Relax, drink wine instead of Scotch. Look at the sky. You deserve it mate.
I agree with Bob!

I hope you do get back this way. We're escaping to Savannah over Thanksgiving but will have the hostel open from then on.

I've decided that the stuff falling through the cracks is confetti and I'm having a party!!

Old, it isn't as old as you. It's a well known fact that I never (well, hardly ever) exceed 4000 rpm and avoid leaning in corners, just kind of steer around them. Kindly old granpa, that's me.

The wheel bearings are good for another 50K. The tire was at fault, a new one arrives on Saturday. Now I gotta talk one of my kid's into delivering it.

The is the second out of round tire on the Tiger. The first was just before we left for AZ, a Metzler. Couldn't get another that day, so switched to Avon. Been happy with them until now.

Don't know when you are planning on visiting, DT, but Saturday is the opener on ducks and I probably won't have a ride until Monday. We have the bed in the back of the 5th wheel or you can camp on the river bank in the back yard. Next to the Gators.
