Wow, what a blast I had these past two weekends, first attending the Allgheny Raid in St. Mary's and then the New England Raid in Stowe and I am DONE! The bar crawls (Bermuda [PA] and Rusty Nail [VT]) were wayyy too much fun ... gotta say, as a non-smoker, I liked the VT bars better since I didn't reek like a used ashtray!

Can't wait for next year, I almost want to throw life into the can and become a RAT Raid groupie!

Maybe I can make the Dragon in Sept ... can I rent a Triumph down there? :-D

I'll post some pics soon of whom I believe are regulars to the boards ...

Hey Eric, even tho it was a short ride saturday, it was nice riding with you. Thanks for waiting for me and Elise :-D Looking forward to the pics.

That's what the group ride is all about -- we wait for our own! Just like soliders, couldn't leave behind anyone. Glad you guys hung even at our pace -- thankfully no "awards" were issued.

(Almost got an award this AM from NJTrooper, but he felt sorry for me and let me go on my way ... *whew*)

You'd be surprised the pace I can keep on my America, but with the fairly choppy pavement, slight rain, and I'm still waiting on some progressive rear springs/shocks, I wasn't gonna push it!
