Since the Galena RAT event is cancelled this year I am trying to rally a Chicago group for the same weekend - the weekend after Labor Day. I was looking in central Indiana and some roads out of Bloomington and Nashville look pretty interesting. Anybody with experience in this area that could offer some help? Trying to find something between St. Louis and Chicago and this worked out about even - 250 miles for each. Any other suggestions are appreciated.

Well yep there are a few roads in that area. We ride there when we can.
45 going East out of Bloomington is one of the best in Indiana. 135 is nice too.
There are a few others, but those two are pretty much crream of the crop.
When you get off of the state highways the pavement quality is hit or miss. Those roads are mostly best for Tigers.

I have some routes in that area mapped out in Microsofts program. If you have that Let me know and we can send some files to you.
