demo on rocket touring and striple R

Had the chance to ride both the 09 rocket III touring and the Street triple R at I-90 motorsports here in western Washington last Sunday August 2nd. I recently got a speedy SE and love it. I am looking to get a cruiser/touring bike within the next year and juggling a few different ideas around in my head. All that came to a stop after about .5 miles on the touring Rocket III. I am 5'9" 125lb and not once did I feel like it was too much bike for me. I was not but 100 feet down the road and I found myself laughing at the fact I was riding this huge heavy beautiful two tone blue dressed out beast, once at the first light before the highway entrance I was still grinning so much I could hardly concentrate. Once entering the highway the lead demo guy and a gal on a 2010 Thunderbird just left me while I was just rounding out second so I shifted to third and rolled it on, "WOW", I had never done a demo ride like this and all the rules they told us seemed to be laxed on so within the safety realm and watching for the law I was able to really test her out. Everything about it was great, I didn't scrape her but I felt it would be almost too easy as it wanted to lay into all the twisties (my only concern). As for the Street triple R, having rode my speedy for 2000 mi. I felt I had to ride very aggressive almost the whole time to obtain my thrills. Still a very fun ride, I just see way too much unwanted attention on that guy for me. I am glad I bought the speedy first cause if I rode that Rocket first thats where my green would have went. I am now saving for a dream.
