Scrambler Road Trip

Took the Scrambler on it's first road trip last weekend. Just under 1,000 miles. Went to the Rolex Grand AM Porsche 250 at Barber Motorsports Park near Birmingham, AL. The bike ran flawlessly and was a blast on the twisties.

For those who haven't been there...make it a priority - you won't regret it. I've been there 7 or 8 times over the past few years and It's awesome every time.

Besides the races, we did quite a bit of riding and the roads around the area are great! Check out some pics at picasa.

In photo 7 of 19 it looks like your headers have been assembled wrong.

Compare to mine here

Mine...

You can see the right hand cylinder pipe should fit to the bottom of the 2into1 connector. Exactly the same as the original pipes...

Blacktiger,

Thanks. I hadn't even noticed. They were installed by my dealer when I took delivery. After seeing your reply, I looked at the Triumph USA website "Create My Triumph" which shows a picture of the Arrow exhaust on the Scrambler and the picture shows them installed as yours are.

I've forwarded a link to this thread to my dealer. Looks like I'll be visiting them soon.

Thanks again...from across the pond.

Rick

It seems it was a great road trip! Great destination, great bike.
Nice pictures also.
(I have also a black Scrambler, but with the stock pipes.)

The Scrambler makes a surprisingly good bike for reeling in the miles doesn't it?

Good report. I'm a big fan of road trips on the Scram, particularly if the trip includes some GOOD roads!
