The year after my trip I dumped the bike in a low speed, "Sand in the corner" situation... banged up the plastics pretty good... once my broken hand healed, I reworked the plastics with fiberglass epoxy and glues.. It ain't quite right looking but it runs well and suffered no mechanical damage... I've put another 7k on it since the accident. It finally needs a chain sprocket swap out... However...
I bought an '06 Tiger the other week and will now be selling the ST. It is my plan to take a 6-8 week tour of the Western US sometime int he next year... I must wait until my dear old dog passes on... I don;t think that she'd tolerate being on a bike trip too well at 17+...
I note that report has gotten hard to read from a change in type in places... I'll try to clean it up soon..
