These boots are a 14in motocross style leather boot. The leather is really thick and incredibly durable, which is great, but means it takes them a while to break in. I have put about 2,000 miles on mine and love them. Though not technically waterproof by putting on a little leather treatment they keep my feet dry in all, but the heaviest rains and then it is just a slight dampness. The shins are nicely padded and protect them really well. A great boot that I expect will lat me for many years. I have the wedge sole because it has a slight heel notch and it is showing virtually no wear.
