Who is out here in the Bay Area? I am in the East Bay in the Brentwood area. Could use even more reasons to get out, ride, and socialize.

Not sure if I can make that ride, but if I do I'll say hi. I'm on a green 2007 bonneville.

I will be doing the Doc Wong riding clining the following weekend (July 19). Ever done one of those? I've been to some of his seminars, and they are great. But this will be my first riding clinic.

He has all sorts of classes, including off-road, long distance touring, etc. A very entertaining speaker, and it's all free. Although he has everyone fill out a "survey" and if you mention that you have headaches or back pains, you'll get a friendly call from him offering a free consultation. He's fine if you politely decline -- definitely no-pressure. Motorcycles are his hobby and passion. He's in Belmont - classes are held in his chiropractic office after hours. And he usually has an amazing custom Ducati or other ultra-expensive bike parked in his reception area which is fun to drool over. Google Docwong and some motorcycle topic and you'll see his web page.

Wow, that sounds exciting! Hope you found the missing person...

Yes I did go on the CalMoto ride. It was great! A lot of fun, and a good group of people. 25 bikes came, a big group. Two Bonnies, a Thruxton, some (modern) Tigers, and a whole lot of BMW's from the NorCal BMW Riders Association. Lots of beautiful roads thru farmland and forests, yummy pie, delicious sausages (I bought a dozen for a picnic next weekend). I ended the day at 3PM at Alice's for the obigitory Guinness on my way home. Great day.

Thanks a lot for letting me know about the ride! Sorry you missed it.

The missing person was located last night around 10 pm. She is in good health and fine. A good outcome after a very long day of searching (6:30 am to 9:30 pm).

I have done that same ride many time and love it. Would have been nice to say hi and see all the other bikes. Too many BMWs for me, but everyone has thier own taste. Sounds like we need to get some more Bristish bikes next time.

Hopefully I will be available for the next ride. I may try and head up to Alice's on Sunday and over the hill to Pescadero for some brew :)

Shoot me a private message if you plan on riding after work or weekends and maybe we can meet? I ride up Hwy 9 to Alice's a lot on weeknights and weekends to blow off steam. It's a fun ride on the Tiger 800 or Suzuki 400sm. I fly up Hwy 9 on the 400sm a lot after work as it's very fast and fun on the sharp corners. Take the 800 when it's a longer ride or my wife comes along.

We should try and get a Triumph gathering together at Cyclegear (SJ or RWC) or up at Alice's. Maybe post something here and on a couple other sites. Cal Moto would also post something too. What do you think?

Sounds great! I'd prefer a Saturday -- Sunday rides are difficult for me to make as a general rule.

I agree Saturday is a better day for me too.

I have training this Saturday with SCC Sheriff, so maybe next Saturday. I will be riding on Sunday after church :D

Are there any Saturdays that are not good over the next few weeks?

I'll be riding on Sunday TO church! lol

This coming Saturday is bad, and August 1st is bad, for me.

Can't make it this weekend -- doing an all-day ride on Saturday with the Vespa Club. Hitting Mt. Hamilton, Mt. Diablo, and Mt. Tamalpias all in one day! Maybe next weekend?

I saw those guys last month on Skyline Road. There were 30 or more! Spoke with some of them too at Alice's and they were all super nice... unlike some of the "biker" bunch that rides the large american scooters (HD).

I'm going to the Doc Wong Riding Clinic this Sunday 8/16 at 9AM in Belmont, CA. It consists of a 1 hour class on riding -- topic this month is "pivot steering" -- and then a 5 hour ride thru 1080 curves in the Santa Cruz mountains and up Route 1 for a bit. Lunch in Davenport.

It's free, open to all levels of riders (about 1/3 of the class are new riders, and 1/3 have ridden for 10 years or more), and is low key and fun. Anyone else going?

I wish I didn't already have a commitment, that sounds like fun.

The Marin Speed Shop / Hattar Motors has kindly agreed to host (coffee, sweets and bikes to drool over) the start of the Norcal Presidents September ride on September 19th, 2015 at 137 Front Street, San Rafael, Ca. We will meet there at 10:00, enjoy the hospitality for a while and leave around 10:30. We are going to ride north. Should be about 6 or 8 riders at this time. like to keep it small but wanted to extend an invitation to the RAT forum folks to join us. Go to Delphi Forums, New Bonneville to check out the ride and let us know if you are going to show.

Not too sure I am interested in the sponsored ride from the dealer but i'm in Dublin and very close to tri-valley so if one of you goes I am probably game for this Sunday. If any locals wanna ride this weekend also just pm me, a group of nomore than 3 or 4 triumphs would be right up my alley.

Went on the shop ride with Cal Moto. They put on a good ride, but man was it crowded at the lunch spot. My wife rode with me and was the only lady and two up bike in the group. I think there were 22 people on the ride! Large group and a little slow for my riding style, but still fun and a great time with everyone. Thanks Cal Moto!

Anyone donig the Distinguished Gentlemen's Ride for prostate cancer later this month?

Glad it was a good ride. Sorry I missed it.

I'm signed up to do the Distinguished Gentlemen's Ride, but I'm not sure when or where it is in SF yet. When I signed up they hadn't worked out the details!
