Who is out here in the Bay Area? I am in the East Bay in the Brentwood area. Could use even more reasons to get out, ride, and socialize.

Hi all, new Triumph owner here from Palo Alto. Just bought a 2007 Bonneville after riding Vespas for 10 years. Enjoying the new ride immensely! I've seen a few Bonnie's around the peninsula -- just saw a gold one on University Ave today, in fact.

If you see a green Bonnie go by, give me a wave!

I am in the Bay Area (San Jose) and looking to find other Triumph riders. Just picked up a 1969 Tiger 650 and doing a restore on it now. Runs great just needs some TLC. Rode up to Alices on it last weekend and it did great.

Also have a Tiger 800 xcx which is my daily ride.

Love Triumphs !!!

Bay area here as well -- 2007 Bonneville. We should have a RAT meetup at Alice's Restaurant some time, would be fun!

I am up at Alice's almost every weekend. Great pie and coffee :D

I rode mine up there last weekend and had a blast. Got to get some new tires, but otherwise it did fine. If you are going up there on the weekend just let me know and I will try and ride up there too. I am in Saratoga so it's an easy ride.

I went to Ken Armann's shop last Friday and he helped me with a few things on my bike and told me to join the NorCal Norton's Owner's Club. They do allow Triumph's if you get a sponsor and Ken is the President and approved.

The club has a bunch of rides and events that sound fun too. If nothign else you meet some people with fantastic vintage bike knowledge that can help with stuff.

Cool. I did see what might have been a Tiger 650 at Alice's a few weeks ago -- parked across the street, actually. Was that you? I wanted to stop and say hello but the owner was engaged in a deep conversation so I didn't want to interrupt. I'll let you know next time I head up there.

Don't know if the Norton club would allow a modern (2007) Triumph though... But it looks like fun!

Dan,

Thanks! Got real lucky to find it and purchase from a guy that used to live in Los Gatos and moved to Quincy. Drove up there and brought it back and just finished going through everything and have it running great. It's all stock except for the pipes and even came with a stock wind screen (looks strange to me though). Paint is faded from the sun, but it was kept under a car port and dry so no rust or other issues. Motor has never been worked on and has about 5K miles on it original. It also has black / yellow California plates :D

Took it over to Ken Armann's shop and had him go through it too and he couldn't find any problems and just told me to ride it till it breaks and he would fix it later.

Dan,

I am going on that ride ! I will be on the white 2015 Tiger 800 xcx. Not sure if my wife will join me. I have done that same ride a few times and it's a fun one. Come say hi if you go.
