My MM puts together about 5 or 6 simple rides a year. most are between April and November. My bike is on the stands for a few weeks while i do my clip ons project. but soon after that if there's a clear day i'm in.
I need to get some all of your contact info so i can include you on the emails when we go. I have Don and Waynes already. PM me if you guys want to be included.
Micah.

We love the gold county rides, but we're trying to find other areas that we can go to that maybe don't get as much attention but are still good roads.
As for the guy that's retired and rides all the time.....You suck.

When I talk about Gold Country rides I'm talking about the back roads around Copperopolis, Sonora, Murphys, etc., which don't have much traffic and are terrific motorcycle roads. But if you've tired of those roads, sorry, I can't help you out.
As for me sucking because I'm retired. Possibly so, but I worked quite a few years to earn the title of Retiree.

i can't say i'm tired of them. we're just looking for veriety. We do lots of Georgetown, Coloma, Folsom, Placerville, Auburn Lincoln rides. Salmon falls road, 49, 193, and other local highways.
And you don't really suck. i'm just jealous and wish i could ride often. I'm sure you've earned every second of relaxation. I just hope i can do the same someday. I haven't been able to do napa stuff yet. hopefully next spring i'll be able to.

If either of you are interested in rides in this area, send me your email address. I have a group list of riders, and often send out a quick note to see who all is interested in joining me. In addition to Jamestown, Murphys, Yosemite, and other places down here, when the days are longer we'll go up Hwy 4 or Hwy 88 to Nevada, just for lunch.

You're probably talking about the Firewood. They have an actual pizza oven. They also make good burgers and have some great beer on tap. One of my favorite rides is from Valley Springs to San Andreas, then take the Pool Station Road to Copperopolis, follow the road along Lake Tulloch and take a butt break in Jamestown. Then catch Rawhide Rd up to Hwy 49, head through Columbia, over New Melones and into Murphys. About 2 - 21/2 hour ride on all great motorcycle roads. Then take the back road out of Murphys to Angles Camp and catch Hwy 49 again to Jackson. I don't think you can find many better twisty, two lane roads with little traffic and a great place for lunch.
