I ran into a guy on my Sun ride this morning who told me their was a RAT ride next Sat (30th) from Central Florida to a classic bike show. Can't find anything about this on the site. Has anyone heard anything about this?

i think I have the info on bike event you're looking for. I pulled this info off of the HSTA site.

Also, where is the Central Florida RAT group out of? I just moved to Lakeland from South Florida and I'm looking for some locals to ride with. Info below-Thanks

Riding Into History - Saturday, April 30 - World Golf Village, St. Augustine, FL GPS: N29 59.532 W81 28.258

Riding Into History, a Concours d’Elegance for Motorcycles will return to the beautiful World Golf Village for the sixth straight year. This year it will feature “The Legendary Motorcycles of Germany”. The WGV is located just north of St. Augustine, Florida, on I-95, exit 323.

The Atlantic Beach Vintage Motorcycle Club and the BMW Motorcycle Owners of Northeast Florida will be the presenters of the event. Buddy Check 12, a breast cancer charity and a partnership between Baptist Health and First Coast News, will be the beneficiary of the charitable event. Last year RIH raised over $25,000 for the charity.

RIH consists of three parts: 1). Charity motorcycle rides originating in both Daytona and Jacksonville, leading to the World Golf Village. 2). The Concours, featuring approximately 200 motorcycles from all over the country, as well as vendors, clubs, dealers and entertainment. 3). The Biker’s Ball, a dinner and dance held at the Renaissance Resort at the WGV the night of the Concours. Special hotel packages are available.

For additional information visit RidingIntoHistory.org or contact HSTA member Bill Robinson at 904-730-9719, RIH2005@aol.com.

Hi Bobinlakeland! Thanks for the info, I'll try to make it if I can. I was told that there was a RAT group based out of the Orlando dealer--Cycle Riders of Orlando or Longview. I think this dealership recently changed hands and I haven't seen any thing here about the RAT's. You can give them a call. Good luck.
