Local RAT Pack Patches

How about posting a pic of your Rat Packs patch? There are packs throughout the country, and world, let's see those patches...

Don't think you are going to find too many with their own patches - never been a big thing.

Patches can get you in trouble with your local 1% club....

1%

Pardon my ignorance, what's a 1%er? My assumption is the "hard-core" biker gangs I see on the History Channel for all kinds of mischievous activities?

I would have to disagree - ordered 100 patches and have about 6 left, seem to be pretty popular. Also the 1% don't bother with someone having a patch on their jacket, that ridiculous. They know who there rivals are and it ain't someone wearing a Triumph patch.

You are absolutely right OutlawS3...It's only the 3 piece patch that will cause you any grief with 1%ers.

I have a friend that would disagree with you there - spent a while in the hospital as a result of being a member of a club with a patch (4" dia., non-3 piece), and being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

You guys are assuming there are "rules" to these things If an MC member decides you are a threat, has something to prove, and you are in the wrong place at the wrong time, he will mess with you if he wants. No point in giving them any fodder.

Good luck to you, though!

O.K., so I stand corrected - ONE group has a patch. You are right, yep, that makes them pretty popular!

cafetbird,I'm not trying to sound like a know it all pr!ck,and not knowing the situation your friend encountered,I'm inclined to think, like you said, he was either in that wrong place at the wrong time or the 1%er had something to prove.Usually it's prospective members that think they've got something to prove.I've been around the block a few times and have "aquaintances" who are 1%ers.It's the three piece patch that will get them wound up.

What is a 1%er? And how do you recognize who they are?
