French RATs
I'm going to France to hang with some RATs we met on a tour in Greece in 2004.

We have 4 days in Paris, and then we willl go to LA Rochelle to meet our friends. They will drive us to the other RATs place in the south of France. He has several motorcycles. We should have a great time there.
He is a moto journalist, and very active with RAT there.
Maybe I'll get to ride a Ducati into Italy for a slice of pizza.

It's a shame about the USA RAT program lately.
Where's my Torque?

Matt

Hey Matt, get photos and take notes while your over there. We may have to start producing our own Torque to backfill the change in Triumph's magazine. Triumph is limited on how much it can do to report and write. But we have RATs running all over the world!

Maybe what we need is a good RAT USA blog space. Who is the bloggiest? I don't have a bloggy clue....

It may come to us putting up a wiki or blog space for Torque. I've posted in other threads the request I made to Triumph of hosting and managing content, but promote contributions from riders of Triumph motorcycles. The advantage is standardizing the material, use of logo, and economies of distribution.

A secondary benefit is more communication between RATs and Triumph. I think the material will get in more hands if it is in print or email rather than just having a hosted site, but I envision a combination. I saw some of this verbiage in the recent survey Triumph is hosting.

Otherwise, it will likely come down to a few individuals hosting their own unique form of content likely segregated by interest.

Either way is fine by me, but I'd prefer to see the one Torque with hundreds of contributors. Then things like Thruxton Cup Challenge and interesting modifications will have greater visibility.
