Eastern CT
I live in Eastern CT and we have very little activlity that I know of. Is anyone intersted in a "triumph day" at The Vanilla Bean in Pomfret? it's an upscale coffee house at the intersection of RTs 44 and 169 and there are many bikes there on weekends

Triumph Day
Sounds good as I was thinking of taking a ride up that way this weekend anyway. Sat. or Sun. just let me know. Don't know how many days we'll have like this weekend so I told the wife that at least one of them will be spent on the bike. Ok, I'll be checking back. Come on now Rats, let's get together.

Unfortunately, I'm done for the next couple of months due to surgery, but keep me in mind for the spring.

Triumph Day
That's Ok, the way the weathers been lately and if your feeling better you might be able to get out well before Spring.
It wouldn't surprise me to be riding right into Dec. this year. Well there will be a couple of us going to the Vanilla Bean on Sun. around 1:00 so if there's any Rats out there that don't have anything better to do then we'll see ya there. The most Triumphs I've seen there at one time was three. I bet we can do better than that. Cheers, Touko

As long it doesn't snow, I'll be out as soon as I can shift with that foot!
It was BEAUTIFUL today, I hope you got a ride in.

Excellent Fall day
Yeah, did 100+ miles all together just cruising the secondary roads from Oakdale to Pomfret and then out towards Middletown and back. So this time there was a total of four Triumphs,
One late 60's? stock that had the look of an old riding jacket which has been worn so many times it simply becomes part of the rider. A very sweet custom that I'm sure must have, or should, grace the pages of a biker build magazine. A new Thruxton which just makes you want to get on and take it for a ride; and my Rocket 3.
Talked to Drlapo and we were thinking there could be a place in CT. for each Sun. of the month which would be unofficially a "Triumph day". Figure the Vanilla Bean in Pomfret can be the 3rd Sun. Now since they are located in the upper east portion of the state perhaps others can come-up with three more places spaced far enough apart to make a ride out of it.
Definetly fun to be looking at something more than Harleys and there clones when I stop at a biker joint. Cheers, Touko

Vanilla Bean
good day all around, good weather and good company and we coudl talk about Triumphs when the harleys were not running, if the bigger the SUV means the smaller the "member" does tha same hold true for Harley pipes? the more noise; the smaller the "pipe"?
maybe we should expand it to "euro day" and invite Ducati s Moto Guzzis Aprilias KTms BMW etc

Euro day
Yes, Euro day would be even better. Always good to meet others with a different view of what makes a great bike.

Glad you had a good ride!
I live in Enfield, near the Mass border, most of the good roads around me are an hour or more away anyway, so traveling a bit is no problem.
I work with a Rocket III owner and an Aprilia owner, so there's a couple more Euro bikes.
I'll keep an eye on this thread, and hopefully we can join up with you soon.
