Many thanks Mike, for putting together a great ride. It was a fun group of people, and a very scenic ride. As was mentioned earlier, Westchester Beemers joined us Trumpet riders for the trip. I'd say the median age of the group was somewhere around 50, which suits me just fine.

The fall foliage is still in full color where we rode, with the Maples hanging on tightly to their leaves. The rural route felt like we were riding in Vermont at peak foliage, with a number of placid lakes along the way. I try to ride until the salt falls, but if this was a last ride of the season for anyone, it couldn't have gotten any better.
