I've never been to a Triumph rally. Has anyone gone to one of these what do you think? I'm trying to psyche myself up to go.

peace smiles,

BW rooms sold out? I scored one at 2:30pm yesterday.

Gettysburg will be my first Raid too. Not sure what to expect myself. Anyways worst case scenario is that I can always go solo and explore some of PA's roads and history. I have heard Raids are more of a civilized group thing, not a Sturgis/Daytona. (Although there are certain attributes of Sturgis/Daytona that will be missed too).

Go to www.tripadvisor.com to get a list of recommended hotels in the area, I believe most are within a mile of the BW anyways.

I would assume registration is in advance, they need head-count for the catered meals and such....
You should definitely reserve a hotel room somewhere soon, as it is full tourist season there.

if i could register on the spot. If I do go i would probably leave
very early morning and return in the evening no sleep over.

Hi guys,

I've been to two of them and you can register when you get there. Easy. right at the lode or hotel, or whatever we are staying at.

Also Nagbie, if you're just going to do a day, don't even register. Just show up and ride around.

The registration gets you a t-shirt and the dinner on Saturday night. You can still hang around.

I'll see you guys there!!!

I heard the hotel is sold out. I have a room reserved for fri and sat night that I will no longer require. I did not cancel it yet thinking someone may want to just take it from me.PM me if anyone is interested. Thanks, Ed

I'm afraid it's not. Standard rates (109.00?) I think.
