Breeze Cycle RAT activities

Our January meeting is going to be a huge kick off for the coming season for this pack. NEW year, new leadership, new attitude. I would encourage everyone that is in our area to attend. Details will be posted, and all customer will be getting mailings. This is the most active pack in the area and 2007 is shaping up to be more fun than brushing bugs out of your teeth.

With just a month till our BIG January meeting I wanted to give everyone a quick FYI.
First the meeting will meet at the dealership(Breeze Cycle)
It will be held the first Saturday of the month 1/6/07
The time will be 9:30 A.M. with a modest breakfast available here.
There is alot to talk about in the coming year and several changes, to make your R.A.T. club more enjoyable and fun to be in.
We will be touching base on several different activities and a change to our schedule. Also we will be looking for feedback for other club plans not already on the calender. I hope to make this Breeze Cycle R.A.T packs best and most enjoyable year so far.
Looking forward to seeing all our great people that make this pack such a success.

I would like to thank all the good people who showed up for our 2007 pack kick off meeting. It started with a breakfast of egg and sausage cassarol and homemade cimmimon rolls. Then down to business
1 New R.A.T meeting day( first Thursday of the month)
2 Now all meetings will be at Breezecycle@ 6:30
3 Quarterly R.A.T passport with members getting participation stamp for every event attended. Member or members with most pages stamped get free T shirts.
Continution of of our supper series of rides, now taking place on the 1st and the 3nd thursdays, with our meeting combined at the destination on the first. Also several new locations this year.
4 The pack is also having a mini raid in Onawa Ia in June.
We will be doing a adopt a highway program this year, to give back to our community.
A couple of pack meet ups are on the agenda for the summer.
A game of bug splatter bullseye is going to be played on our supper series, winner being the rider with the highest score on their bullseye.
All in all I think this is going to be a great riding season and I hope more local Triumph riders will make an effort to join us.

We had our first pack ride of 2007 and it was awesome. Great weather about 30 triumphs and a cool little coffee, ice cream shop that provided outstanding service. April 5th is the next meeting, 1st quarter winners will be recieving their free R.A.T shirts, and we will have alot to talk about. Hope to see everyone there.

Well it is finally riding season here, the club has already had a couple rides with about 20 Triumphs showing up for the events. Our next ride is to Logan Ia. for supper and the monthly meeting. If you are looking for something to do the 1st or 3rd Thursdays of the month these are alot of fun and we work to accommodate all styles of riders. Generally the group is broke into a sporty bunch and a leisurely bunch, with everyone arriving at the same destination.

Your pack should think about going to Bike Night at Bronson, IA. Bike night is every Thursday night from May 3rd to October 4th.

They average about 300 bikes per night but very few Triumphs. Other than myself there may be two other Triumph riders. It would be great to have a Rat Pack show up.

Well our ride was rained out! BUT our meeting was still held as scheduled. Pretty short and informal as the turn out was poor. We did however unveil our NEW photo contest. With a winning price of a new set of tires, this is going to be a hell of a fun contest. All you have to do is take pictures of your bikes with the dealer towels and our chosen courthouse in them. Good luck to all the participants, and since it runs all summer there is still plenty of time to sign up. With over a hundred courthouses on the contest sheets covering several midwest states the compation is going to be tight.
If you are in our vacinity you should sign up and give the contest a try, what do you have to lose, but some quality time riding your Triumph and taking some pictures. CHeers

Hey all, This Thursday may 17th is our next supper series ride. Grap your R.A.T. passports and join in the fun. We will be heading south to a nice little place where you can snack on peanuts and discard the shells on the floor. Weather looks great and the ride will be about 50miles through the lush plains and river valleys of the region. Leaving Breeze Cycle at 6:30 as always, be there or be square!

Hi all, The packs June meeting/ supper ride was a great time out on the bikes. About 15 members rode to dinner with us, and 2 or 3 met us at our destination. We welcome everyone to come join us. This coming weekend is Onawa Odyssey, a mini raid. This is going to be our BIG event for the year and turn out looks good. July will be the next rides and meetings, hope to see you there.
