Who has started one with dealer support?
My dealer is looking at starting up a pack and I am just wondering if anybody has ever documented the how to start a Rat Pack.... If you have could you please PM me or just give me some idea of what kind of time commitment is needed to get something as GREAT as a Triumph Rat Pack.

Thanks in advance.

I've done it, but with little dealer involvement. E-mail the RAT guys in GA or have the dealer do it to send you a packet of info.

Packs are ALL dealer sponsored - that is their design. Check with your RAT coordinator for the info you are looking for.

There is a Pack Leader manual published by RAT. Your dealer may already have a copy enclosed in the literature, supplied to them when they originally became a Triumph dealer.

Thank you guys. I got it..
Ben,
Looks like we are on the hook for coming up with the New England Raid ideas this year. We should start planning soon and get with Matt for his contact info for the Stow VT folks. What do you think? up for that ride again this year?

Well there's no official New England raid this year.... kinda bites. We could shoot for the MIMI event in Maine? Or is there a VT thing being planned by anyone? It's a nice easy ride for me!

Well after reading what Matt wrote on the first post on this forum it seems like if we want the VT Raid, we need to plan the VT Raid. I will say the ride to VT was my best tour last season. We left in the AM and saw no traffic and GREAT roads all the way. Even if nobody else is going up this year I will be taking that ride a few times this year.
I would like to do the MEME this year. It will be my first, and I will put a call out to the current NH Rat Pack leader to see if he has anything in the works for VT this year. Keep me up to date and I will do the same if I hear anything from anybody else who enjoyed last years raid.
:hammer: on them for not doing it again this year!

-MC

Dude I'm with you man, I had a GREAT time last year! If you can figure something out, let me know. I'll be honest, I have a LOT on my plate right now in the old personal life, so I'm a little tapped. But if it's a weekend I can make it, I'm there. On the flip side, I know a lot of good roads in Southern VT, and my parent's live in Manchester, so if nothing formal is planned, I could easily meet up for a weekend on the southern end of things if you want.

I didn't read Matt's post... I'll do that.

OK just read it. So you're saying we could organize something as one of those "nation rides" he's talkin about? That's cool. I also just remembered I have a friend in Burlington I could crash with if need be, so northern is cool too, altho staying close to home would be nicer
