Rat Pack in NYC

Come one, come all. The Riders Association of Triumph (RAT) has set up shop in NYC.

Membership to RAT NYC is open to those that own a Hinckley or Meriden Triumph as well as those that wish they had one. Our purpose is inclusion instead of exclusion. Our goal is to represent the Triumph riders of the NYC Metro area and put together a bunch of folks who love Triumphs and enjoy riding them. We will keep you up to date on the latest Triumph happenings, rides, and shows. Rides will be organized to explore the fantastic roads in the Tri-State area.

Contrary to popular belief New York City RATs can be very friendly and fun.

Check out our website at http://www.ratnyc.com

Hope you can join us.

John

Hey John, more power to ya!! If you're not affiliated with a dealer, are you affiliated with RAT itself? Or is this a more unoffical thing... I have some guys who joined my Long Island/NY group a few years ago who are from the city. Mine was the first group around, and it's been REAL hard to get everyone together, so I'm sure they will be happy to have sometihng closer!

Thanks for the good wishes.

We are an official RAT pack and are affiliated with Riders Association of Triumph.

If you know any folks around the city please send them our way! We would be most appreciative. Maybe we could get together with LI Rats and have a ride or track day soon!

Definitely. Aparently there's two packs out here now, one from Gold Coast (mine, altho I haven't set foot in there in two years) and one from Ramp in St James. I'm sure we can hang sometime. Drop me a PM if you are ever headed out this way.

I remember reading somewhere, obviously not here, the suggestion that the NYC Pack meet up at the Ear of Tuesdays.

Well, it's Tuesday.

Anyone heading to Bike Night?

A few of us are off to the Ear Inn tonight to represent. Tuesday nights are European Bike Nights.

The Ear Inn is Soho. It is located on Spring St right off Washington (2 blocks from the Hudson river and 2 blocks north of the Holland tunnel enrance.)

Join us!

Lady Liberty Ride - Sunday - September 23rd

Dear Friends,

I hope this note finds you well. As most of you know, it was two years ago that I met Jennifer when she was promoting the Lady Liberty Ride and this year's ride is in part dedicated to her. Please join me at the event next Sunday.

There are two parts to the ride:

The ride begins from Hogs & Heffers at 9am and goes to Bear Mountain and then returns.
- Staff is needed if you would prefer to donate your time and not ride.

Around 1PM the ride will return and block party begins. The Block party is kid friendly and Dinosaur Barbecue is donating food. A new motorcycle will be raffled off along with many other items. (Did you know in 2004 Jennifer won her first motorcycle at the event?)

Claudia has asked me to invite friends to begin a motorcycle show this year with (European or vintage) motorcycles ... you do not need to do the ride to Bear Mountain. Please tell your friends, bring out an interesting bike and enjoy a great event. If you are planning to display, please drop me a note so we have a expected count. A space will be saved to display bikes. If your worried about NYC streets, Hogs & Heffers is on Washington Street, (1) block off the Westside Highway and (1) turn from the 14th Street exit.

The events website is ... http://www.ladylibertyride.com/

Please join us and pass the word.

Thanks,
Greg

Seems like it has old news posted, so may not be afloat any more?
