Is it just me and Thunder 'round here? Anything going on in Colorado or am I gonna have to ride out to CA to see some Triumphs?

Woot! Look at us!

Torch, do you know if there are any other Triumph owners around? With two big dealerships in Denver I would think we could muster enough of us for a get together.

(I used to live in Littleton about 6 years ago)

I'm new to the Triumph world and looking for a little more riding and a little less bar hopping. I sold the V-Twin for a bike that can handle well. So far I've racked up a whole 116 miles on my new S3. But I dream of riding all day long at work. So I figure I've got about 2 weeks x 40 hours of riding time in. For now I'm just trying to get acquainted with the local scene, so HELLO!

I think there's one guy who lives up in Evergreen with a turbo R3 and I met another one at Foothills BMW and I think he was from Aurora. I belong to a group called the High Country Cruisers. One of the wives has a new Bonnie. Started out as a Valkyrie club but it's turned into a ride what you got group,"www.cohcc.org".If you want check it out. If you want maps of the great rides in Colorado go to the site and look under rides. You don't have to buy a membership,it's free but we do a once a month meeting and have a raffle to support our activities. Real good people, varied degrees of riding capabilities.Theres also a guy at my account who just bought a Speedmaster :-D

Hey BlackOak, I'm new to Triumph too. I prefer coffee shops to liquor stops when I'm riding. I'm just lookin for some folks to swap Triumph stories and ogle their bikes...I fear I'm boring the heck out of my wife with my new motorcycle obsession.

Cafetbird pointed out that there is going to be a RAT Steamboat Springs ride next year. I'm going to look into it.

Torch, thanks for the invitation to check out COHCC. looks like a good group of folks. I don't suppose that that was your Silver Rocket that was parked out back at Foothills for servicing last week was it? I'm there all the time now it seems .

Hello,

I just discovered this forum (serious waste of time) and thought I'd introduce myself. After a number of years of painful wanting, I finally broke down and bought my first Triumph. She's on her way over by truck and I'm sick with anticipation. I've spent way too much time reading about others' bikes, looking at photos, thinking about after market parts, etc. The wife isn't too happy, but hey, it doesn't really matter. I have a Bonnie. Anyway, I'm in Boulder if anybody wants to ride...

And I thought my spouse was the only one annoyed with the obsession. It only took me six months of talking about it everyday to finally get it.

Hopefully I'll get to see everyone's bikes at the coffee shop
