Hello everyone, Cedar Key leader here.

Sorry for the delay, busy time at work.

We are meeting at the Denny's in Ocoee at 8:00 for breakfast and leaving promptly at 9:00

11261 WEST COLONIAL
OCOEE, FL 34761

We will be riding through Monte Verde, around the South of Sugar loaf, through Howie in the hills then on to Inverness by way of Lake Panasofkee, North to Dunellon and then on to Cedar Key.

Here are the directions for mapping

Cedar Key Route

This trip is going to have some nice roads, but will also have the mundane as after you get to a certain point, the roads straighten out.

This will be a long trip and their is a slight chance of rain. In the case of rain, I will still be at the restaurant and we can decide if we want to go forward or postpone, depending on the conditions and forecast.

Email me with any questions or concerns

I look forward to the ride and hope everyone enjoys it.

Darrell

Depending on the weather (and a few other things) I'll be waiting for you in Howey-in-the-Hills. I'm still trying to reschedule a few other things, so hopefully I can make it.

I am going to be at the restaurant at 8:00 and will leave at 9:00 regardless of the forecast, but If the weather is going to be crappy most of tomorrow, I say we do some Lake county roads and cut it short instead of going all the way to Cedar Key. That way we get some riding in without getting caught 150 miles from home in the rain.

as350, Where are you going to be in Howie in the Hills? I assume at the local fuel depot in the middle of town.

See you guys in the morning.

Well with the uncertain weather and the change in b-fast meeting point further SW we decided to depart from the north (most of my group is out of Daytona) and try to meet you guys on the road.

We must have been out in front of you a bit because we did see your bikes when walking back across the bridge (at least I assume they were yours - Trident, Bonnie, Sprint, Daytona, Tiger, S3, S4, Rocket, K1200) but did not see the group walking and the bikes were gone when we rode out of town. (We had lunch at Frog's on the deck.)

Looks like you had a good group for the weather, my 7 bikes turned into 3 as the rain turned off some of the fair-weather guys or their wives "re-directed" their energy for the day. If you saw a silver ST, a blue FZ1, and a white Buell parked in front of the Sawgrass shop/hotel that was us.

Hopefully we can get together for another ride sometime. We have been planning winter rides to the Edison & Ford winter estates in Ft. Myers and also a Key West run on 441-27-997-1 with a camping night in Pennekamp State Park, Key Largo (nice park, $4 campsite) if anyone is interested.

Do you guys have RAT dinner meetings or meet up at Bike Nights?

Hello folks:

I'm contacting most of the Florida Packs, I'm the Florida Motorsports Pack leader (Tallyrats) based in Tallahassee. we've done a few rides with the Riverrats (Jacksonville) and the Jolly Hooligans (Pensacola) and are interested in networking with other Triumph riders and, in the future, participating in a Florida RAT event. I can be contacted at Phoenix94@ comcast.net , fell free to get up with me if your in this area, or have any interest in putting together a Florida Rally.

Don

Due to the horrible weather last night I was not able to make out to Odin's Den. I hope we can reschedule this for when the weather is at least a little more dry than what it was last night. IF anyone did go please let us all know how it was or if it even was.

I think the first Thursday of the month would be a good plan. There are also several Bike Nights going on in that area that could be checked out on the way to/from the Pub.

I had planned to be there yesterday as my flight was arriving with just enough time for me to get home, toss the suitcase in and grab my helmet but with the weather and the numerous rear-endders I saw on the way home from the airport I figured it was going to be a wash out.

This weather sucks but it still beats scrapping the heavy frost off of the windows and 20 degree temps in VA.

I would second the first Thursday of month proposed by NorrinRadd. Meeting at 7:30 would work better for me. But hey, I'm flexible, whatever we can get a consensus on.

I am definitely down for the first Thursday of the month. To tell you the truth I have to agree with Odin's being an ideal center point for a few good bike nights. You have Hooters just down the road to the left and I think at the Steak and Shake down the road to the right. I kinda like Odin's also because its like 5 minutes away from where I live. I hope to see this become a regular thing.
