The ride Wayne lead us on was great! There were a lot of curves. It helped to keep our minds off how chilly it was! The Sprints & Throphy's really looked tempting with their fairings and wind screens.

Jeff was bummed out. He was at hunt camp a couple weeks ago and didn't see anything. Then he's on the ride and there are two huge deer beside the road! I'm just glad the deer changed their mind and decided not to cross the road in front of Wayne!

My grouper platter was perfect! Great place. Even better that they didn't take plastic and my brother-in-law picked up my bill! Thanks Jeff!

State road 326 and 336 were very nice. The rolling horse farms were very breath taking. I couldn't belieive all the horses that started galloping along with our bikes. Seemed like a shame they were contained in a fence.

Great Ride!

Thanks Wayne for the day and for the 10 years of running the Triumph Club!

A letter from Wayne & Debbie:

"""""Could you please post this for us:

Our ride to Cedar Key couldn't have been any better. The weather was absolutely gorgeous. It was a little cool in the morning but when the sun came up, it was perfect.
We had a wonderful lunch at Cooks. It's such a friendly place to eat and the food is great.

Before we left from breakfast, Paul & Debbie Tsikuris presented Wayne and I with a beautiful plaque in appreciation for our 10 years of having the rides (although Debbie said it was Paul's idea). For those of you that have ridden with us before, you'll appreciate what he had put on it:

Riders Association of Triumph
would like to thank
WAYNE & DEBBIE MILLS
for 10 years of great rides.

Keep the rubber side down
and turn off that blinker.
Wayne will be having his surgery some time the beginning of next year. The new medication the Dr. tried doesn't seem to be working.

Mike Dozier will be handling some of the rides and if anyone would like to help out by also heading a ride, I know he would appreciate it.

Wayne and I will ride as soon as we can. We will also head a ride or two after he's healed. Paul will also continue to have his ride through Lakeland in September.

We've made a lot of new friends over the last 10 years and hope to make more over the next 10.

Thank you to all.

Debbie & Wayne"""""

Carlos is having a nightmare at Cycle Riders. <A HREF="http://www.triumphrat.net/modules.php?
op=modload&name=Forum&file=viewtopic&topic=65223&f orum=42" TARGET="_blank">Carlos's nightmare</A>

Many of the Orlando RAT members are having the same problems. I know because they're talking to me on the rides, calling me on the phone, or visiting me at the shop. Most of you have been really patient & polite with the dealer. It doesn't seem to be working.

On the ride this last Sunday, a rider wanted to sell his bike because his last service was $1200 and the bike wasn't running right. There was also another rider that wasn't letting them touch his Bonneville anymore. Bonneville's aren't that complicated folks.

The amount of anger among the Club members towards Cycle Riders is incredible. Don't let the local dealer ruin your enjoyment of owning a Triumph. Triumph's are a fantastic product. There has to be a decent shop in Central Florida that will take appointments to service the bikes.

Anyone had their bike worked on at the new Destination Triumph or Spring Hill Triumph dealer?

I wish there were something positive to write about Cycle Riders of Orlando. However I’ve have had nothing but continual negative experiences since buying my 2006 Speed 3 back in April of this year.

When I took the loan out on my bike, Cycle Riders messed up the paperwork and stuck me with 2 separate loans on bikes that weren’t mine. Over the course of 3 months I had to continually visit the dealership (face to face) and call the bank to straighten the mess up. After continual attempts to convince Cycle Riders to not ruin my credit, the dealership finally acknowledged it was their mistake and decided to fix the problem. To top that off, my original down payment was never credited towards my original loan.

Having my bike serviced at Cycle Riders has also proven to be a nightmare. Ever since the first service my bike hasn’t been the same. In the past 2 months my bike has been in the shop 5 times for the same symptoms, fouled plugs. The service department keeps telling me its a mapping issue, then on my last visit they admitted one of the techs over filled the oil which coated the air filter, which then fouled my plugs. As I write this thread, my bike sits in the service department. Even paying for the Extended Service Plan has left me at the bottom of their priority list, not to mention their lack of experience with Triumph motorcycles. I strongly suggest anyone NOT take their Triumphs to this dealership for any kind of service.

If anyone reading this knows of good Triumph service department (in Florida), please let me know. Thanks for reading!

Have had a good experience with the Spring Hill Dealer and Hap's in Sarasota [not so much with the one in Tampa].

If I were you, I would give Dave a call at Motorcycle Enthusiasts http://www.mcenthusiasts.com/ in Spring Hill :upthumb:
