In search of countrymen - or something close to it.

I'm a Norwegian Bonneville owner in search of "the" Bonneville forum.

Is this it? Do you guys hang out at any other sites? I'm currently posting in the "Twin talk" section, but it seems to me that they are all yanks (nothing wrong with that)..

Is this forum used mostly by Americans? Where do British Bonneville riders exchange ideas, technical help, chit chat and frustration? Given up looking for Norwegians, so British it is

...i would just be more convenient to talk in pounds or euros in stead of dollars, and get get tips about good garages/shops in Europe, not Texas. (darn you, www.newbonneville.com for being "over there"!)

But on the other hand. If this is where it all happens I'm glad to join the gang!

JD

Hi Mate
Sounds like twin talk is the same as the sports touring/speed triple section, lots of americans on the site, they are quite entertaining, good luck in finding what you are looking for, as you can probably see on this section post are few and far between, the british triumph owners don`t seem to post much on here

Talking

Welcome John Deere,

I'm new here myself, and stumbled across this site several months ago. This site is mainly used by folks in English speaking countries( USA, UK, Australia, New Zealand, etc ), although I've seen posts from Russia, Scandinavia and Europe. Personally, I enjoy reading posts from all over the world about a common interest; everyone adds their own particular style. After awhile you get familiar with the "regulars". While this site deals mainly with the newer Hinckley Triumphs; there are forums dealing with the older Meriden Triumphs as well. You're in the right place; this IS where it all happens.---James.

Thanks guys. I'll stick around in the Twin Talk section and get to know people.. Doesn't matter where people are from, as long as they all love their trumpets.

I'm one of the small number of UK people that post on the Twin Talk Forum. As you say it's not where you come from, the pleasure of owning a Triumph is universal. I find it great to hear the different viewpoints from around the world. And everyone is really friendly and helpful.
