Sprint ST 1050 Lights!!

Hi, I'm new here but i'm thinking my question's gonna be an 'old chesnut' ............... anyone got a fix for the crap Sprint ST 1050 main beam??
Amazing bike, absolutely luv it!!, but the main beam, well it's a candle!!
I fitted Xenon bulbs, the dip's good but the main is now a slightly brighter candle!!!
Also does anyone know of a GOOD quality suction tank bag 'cos Triumph saved the weight of an average breakfast by fitting a plastic tank so a magnetic one's no good!
Don't get me wrong, if I didn't love the bike i'd not be asking, i'd just change it!! Cheers

Hi Phil,
Can't help with the light but I have a Triumph tank bag on my 04 sprint that has a foam pad the bag clips to. Bought it off ebay for next to nothiing and it fits all my bikes. It secures by three straps one under the head stock and two at the rear either side of the tank. Not had any trouble with it. The other option is a Baglux system-tank cover that the bags clips to.

Thanks Ray,
I'll check eBay, i am also considerring the Bagalux option, I do have a decent Oxford Sport bag, maybe I should look into strapping that on??
Think I may bolt on some Range Rover lights too? ........he he!! (just kidding)

Tankbags that clip on to the filler cap are becoming very popular, everybody I know that uses a tankbag on a daily basis has gone over to that type and they are all very happy with them.
