Hi,
I have just joined the group. I am on the Isle of Skye. About a month ago aquired a tatty but beautiful T140E. I have posted a pic in the gallery (the labeling is not quite right :-) ). It should be running in a couple of weeks time.

No doubt you've said hello to the Bonnie owners in TwinTalk? although most of them won't have an original like you.

BTW, do you dream of riding around the northwest motorways like I dream about riding around Skye ?

Thanks for the welcome Chris.

We are having a bout of glorious sunshine, today is day 10. My riding ambit ons at the moment are just to ride the bike anywhere. When I finished work last night I would have done a 100 mile blat to Fort William just to get some chips.

Some irony. We currently have a film crew up here filming an advert for a Volvo 4x4. Somebody told them that Skye was wet and windy in April. They have had to import a fire engine to generate rain and a wind machine :-)

Onefut, Is that Kyleakin or Kyle of Lochalsh. I used to go upto Harris when I was a lot younger and cathing the little ferry from the Kyle always seemed where the holiday started. Thinking of walking the Coulin one of these days

Glad to hear you've got good weather up there, I tried to ride round Skye in October but it was just too windy to even attempt it, I made it over the bridge and got to Scullamus and had to turn back, with luck I will make it back some time in the summer.

Welcome Skye. It is quite in this section but there are much more active parts like the said twin talk section. You sound just like my old man, he rides 200/300 miles just for breakfast out at the coast lol.

Tonto, haven't ridden round Skye myself yet but hope to this summer cuz all ive heard about the place are great things! So everyone in the area look out for an '01 America rider grinning all the way! haha
