Smile Triumph mag issue 03 out now!

Latest issue came through my letter box today and when I opened it I found a FREE pressie inside! It's a sew on badge with '2008 Riders Association of Triumph' and in large silver letters at the bottom, it has RAT (colours on the badge is blue white and silver).
A quick flick through has articles on the Bonny scrambler, speed triple plus articles by Triumph's commerical director and a consultant (plus others). Will write more once I've read through it

No fair! Mine arrived yesterday and I haven't seen the badge

Time to email Triumph - they'll have millions spare no doubt.

It's ok - I found it! Still in the bag, and if nobody'd mentioned it it would be in the bin by now...

Now what do I do with it???

LOL!! glad you found it mate!
I plan to buy a plain baseball cap and sew it on. My two Triumph baseball caps were chewed up by our dog (not to mention two reading glasses and my best sunglasses! ).

Found the patch but would prefer a pin badge instead.
Do they really expect us to sew patches onto £200 Triumph jackets ?

What I really didn't want was to see a huge double page photo of Ewan (BMW) McGregor on opening the cover !!

Is it me ???

Hmm, don't normally do baseball caps. Might have to think of something else - no way I'll be able (or willing) to sew it to my leather jacket (even at half price it cost £180!) Plus my dog would eat that too - she's managed 2 £150 watches so far, the second a replacement for the 1st!

Maybe it's time for my longed-for denim jacket. Always wanted to be like Steve Austin

Andy

ps - anyone like the limited edition white t-shirt in the mag? The Steve McQueen one? I'm thinking about that for the summer. How to look cool part 1.

Well, if it is, it's me too!

I don't know how I got the magazine - I hadn't even subscribed here when it arrived, but I was a bit bemused to see the Ewan McG 'double page spread' when I opened it (I couldn't even watch more than one and a half episodes of 'Long Way Down' - tho' that wasn't EMcG, more the clod that was riding with him) and I thought the multiple mentions of Steve McQueen on nearly every page was a bit desperate also!

(Perhaps it's an 'Mc' thing - who next? Ronald McDonald? Doug McClure?

Other Motorcycle: anything I can get.
Ads Pay good hard cash and the Ewan pic kept the wifey happy, I had a quick glance through the mag while I was in the bath tonight and its getting better, stop moaning its free and its much less of a sales brochure this time.
