I'm afraid is might be too much to ask. However, my 02 Tiger has lasted well I think. It didn't have a good start when, on its first trip across the channel, it was parked by an open hatch on the car deck and it got completely coated in sea spray when we were caught in a force 8 gale.
6 years and 50000 miles later in places it's showing its age now but there's nothing extraordinary compared to other bikes I've had including a BMW.
I have to say 1050kr, that you quote a 6K mileage in 3 years on your BMW and you say you use it all year. Well, you can't be out for long, can you?
I recommend that you get out more and just enjoy the bike and stop worrying what it looks like down at you nearest posing place. As the Triumph motto says :- "Go your own way".

Smile more crud on my trumpet

Blimey, am I unlucky or what, after the horn and mirror, now I find a big piece of paint 15mmx15mm flaked off from under the bottom yoke, still not quite covered 3k, anyway to the credit off my dealer, he took photos immediately, sent em to Triumph and now I have the bottom yoke being changed next week. I do hope thats the last of it lol

When you say 'wash' I take it you don't mean 'pressure wash'?

Just to ask the obvious question...

Smile

Master, No I dont mean pressure wash, a gentle rub with a nice sponge, anyway, all has been resolved a nice new shiny bottom yoke fitted and all smiles again

blacktiger, I'm not getting into a mileage competition, I use my bike(s) daily and whenever else I get the time and I dont do posing
call me old fashioned, but I work hard and I expect quality when I pay £8,000 for a bike.

Unhappy Oh no not again

After getting a new bottom yoke a few weeks ago had to go back to my dealer today for another warranty issue, the NEW yoke also has paint flaking off it. what do they use ? water colours

Does anyone have a name, email or address of someone at Triumph I cant contact to vent my frustration ?

thanks
