Upgrading to 1050 Tiger

After 3 consecutive 955i Tigers I've placed my order for a new white 1050 for a 1st March delivery.

I'm looking forward to discovering a whole new bike, but also a little sad to part with my last 955. They've been great bikes and have given me many trouble-free miles.

I've bought a new Garmin Zumo already, and I'm busy shopping for the "essential" accessories which in the past I simply transferred from bike to bike.

Some of my 955i accessories are for sale in the Classified section - click the link on the left. I'd prefer to deal with local UK riders if poss.

Are you a Robinsons customer then?
I did my part ex deal with them and so they've become my new Triumph dealership due to Orrell loosing theirs.

That's exactly the reason I went to Rochdale. Can't seem to hit it off with Philip Youles but good vibe (and price) at Robinsons ?

I've tried to buy 3 bikes from Blackburn in the past. I'll not post figures here but if Robinsons were based on the south coast it still would have been worth the trip

I think a lot of it is who you get on with and feel comfortable with,Once the spring arrives perhaps we could have a mini meet in Slaidburn or somewhere,I actually work in the Rossendale valley,Restoring Triumph TR7 Sportscars,So if you are ever passing through give us a shout

I took my 955 for its last trip through Slaidburn on Sunday.
I often call in at the Riverside cafe on my out or way back from the Dales.
Don't hang about waiting for Spring - it may have already gone !
