one of the threads that hold the bolts for the rear bracket has rusted and fallen into my silencer -has anyone had this happen to them and if so how did they fix it - ive plugged the hole with exhaust paste -seems ok at present but need more permanent fix perhaps- looking for new silencers-has anyone bought the sprint manufacturing "not for road use ones " ?

My old Legend did that also.I sealed a short bolt into the hole,the bolt head then sandwiched it between the silencer and the mounting bracket.This worked quite well for me.If you search the classics forum you will find many references to this.
