Was down at Box Hill on Sunday afternoon, saw a Tang and Opal T100, a 2 year old Thruxton, but otherwise no Triumphs that I could see.

Quite a few Harleys, Sportsers and a Dynaglide I noticed, a Vmax with a monstrous rear tyre and some quite daft trikes with skulls, sheepskin seat, lots of fronds etc etc you get the picture..

No pics unfort, mobile dead.. but what a lovely day for a ride!

A long time since I was at Box Hill, I've lived in Leeds for 17 years but we've got Squires Cafe, Nothing like the scale of Box Hill but I did count at least a dozen Trumphs, of all types, there today.

West Sussex the other side of Pulborough. Meeting point is the picnic area by the roundabout where the A29 meets the A284.

There is a little cafe and toilets. Well worth a run down.

Here is a URL to multimap hope it works :-

Watch out for the OAPs, couple of weeks back, one managed to reverse into a row of bikes & left 6 of them in bits . . .

Not quite in bits, but rather a few bits fell off.
It was a terrible sound....the thunk as the old git reversed into the first one, then dunk, dunk, dunk as the rest did a grand imitation of dominoes!!
The driver was 86!
His excuse...."plenty of people were watching me reverse but no-one told me to stop before I hit the bikes"!!!!
And then he tried to do a runner!!!
Despite what seemed to be minimal damage, two of the bikes have been written off.

We'd just got back from a cracking ride and for whatever reason I decided to park elsewhere - glad I did now!!

I'd stopped off on my way home for a rally, and left shortly before it happened . . . a lucky escape for us both
