..and their not so Smart drivers. What is it with these Smart Cars?
A couple of weeks ago in a queue of traffic some Smart-arse started hooting at a CB125 that was allegedly blocking his way across a junction. I was sitting there too, there was nowhere to go. CB125 and me crossed the junction and a few moments later we are waiting at the tail of the next queue of traffic. Up comes Smart-arse starts hooting, f-ing and blinding again. CB125 puts his bike in neutral, puts his kickstand down, gets off and lamps him though the open window. Very f*cken funny although I know you're not supposed to do this. CB125 gets back on, we wink at each other and carry on (I'd waited just to see if I was needed).
Saturday I'm out on my own on a dual carriageway, empty inside lane, chocka outside (as usual). I'm going up the inside, fairly slowly 'cos I know stuff like this happens.. Sure enough, another Smartarse swings from outside to inside lane, no attempt at indication, no observation, barely a bike-length in front of me. A dab on the trusty twin discs avoids making a mess of his horrible little plastic rear-end, I pull up beside him and tell him he's a **** - yes, THAT word.
Still, makes a change from grousing at 4x4's anyway.
